It provides rapid, automated and unlimited scaling resources that closely match the demand. The article further reveals that cloud computing has shaped some business considerations. Many businesses have chosen serverless computing as it permits them to stay engaged in solving unique problems in their industry or domain. This article suggests two essential areas that may enhance cloud computing functions and enable serverless computing to work with a broader range of applications (Schleier-Smith et al., 2021). First, the authors suggest that hints provided by the programmer might assist in achieving better performance. These hints can be used to describe patterns of application communication as well as present affinity task placement. Another suggestion offered by this article is removing envision inefficiencies by automatic optimization.

Some of the challenges offered by this article in serverless computing include state management, whereby cloud applications may require to exchange ephemeral state or short-lived component tasks. The article has revealed the expectations of serverless computing, which act as the second phase of cloud computing. I agree that it has provided a simplified operating model attained by hiding servers. I agree with the article that serverless computing entirely remains the application-specific variety. In this case, cloud vendors can quickly scale up or down and housing many clients on a single piece of server hardware. Lastly, cloud computing has also impacted how we work with Microsoft office. When we sign in on any device and launch one of the Office apps, the new Start screen shows you right away that you are in your Office. In this case, MS Office can reveal the list of documents that I have accessed using my computer or any other connected device.
